Special Purrs of Thanks!

In total, a record 8,777 cats came to FCCO in 2023 for care - all feral or stray, or their offspring. It's important to remember that for these cats we offer each caregiver our services for a donation, not a fee. This is a tremendous community resource that doesn't exist at this scale in other cities and is possible because we have your support.

We are deeply grateful for the compassion shown to these cats, our community's most vulnerable. Feral and stray cats are "community cats" and it takes a community effort to help them. We are incredibly grateful to all of our supporters, community business partners, volunteers, and the caregivers who feed them, for improving these cats' lives. You make it possible for cats to have a healthier future. Thank you!

and 1 generous grant from the Karen M. Schroth Charitable Foundation for Animals to help caregivers bringing cats from the greater Salem area (if you are a caregiver there and have feral cats who need to be spayed/neutered, give us a call at 503-797-2606!)
