Trap Depot Volunteers


Volunteer Title:
Trap Depot Volunteer 

Job Description: Trap depot volunteers maintain an inventory of FCCO traps at their homes (or other secure location) and check-in and check-out traps to caregivers who live in their area. They show caregivers how to use the traps, go over trapping instructions and collect and hold trap deposits. They sanitize and prep incoming traps for the next caregiver. 

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with trapping cats
  • Familiarity with FCCO procedures and guidelines
  • Ability to receive calls and voicemails from caregivers and return their calls within 12 hours
  • Able to keep accurate records of trap usage and inventory
  • Safe location to hold trap deposits
  • Existing FCCO volunteer or caregiver

Time Commitment: Approximately 4 hours per week. Available evenings and weekends for trap pick-up and return.

Minimum of 3 month commitment required
